Characteristics of Imperative Sentence
The subject is not written, because it is considered clear (usually in the
form of you)
The beginning of the sentence is a verb or verb in the form of bare
infinitive (verb that is not given an addition s or es)

As explained in the table above, that in imperative sentence we do not need

to write the subject (you), because the subject is clear and at the beginning
of the verb sentence or verb used in the form of bare infinitive or without
the addition of -s or -es at the end of the verb or word the work. With these
characteristics we can draw conclusions by writing the Imperative Sentence
formula as follows:
1. For imperative sentence positive formulas:

Positive: Verb + Object / Complement

In imperative sentences or positive imperative sentences,

we need to write Verb (verb) with objects or complement.

• Read the book ! Baca bukunya !

2. Imperative verb Negative formula:

Negative: Do not / Don't + Verb + Object / Complement

So to write negative sentence imperatives, we need to

write Do Not or don't first, then the new Verb, then
Object or Complement. To be more clear about how to
write negative sentences on imperative sentences, please
look at the following examples of negative imperative
sentences:
