KERING

 Kering is an international luxury group based in Paris, France, it owns


luxury goods brand including Gucci, saint Laurent, boucheron.

 Its portfolio includes brands specialized in the design, the making and
the sale of fine products, especially in leather-goods.

 The company was founded in 1963 and headed by francois Pinault. it


was known as PPR earlier and Kering after 2013.

 It was awarded as most sustainable textile, apparel and luxury goods


corporation in the Corporate Knights Global 100 index.

 As per it’s balance sheet of 2018 the revenue of the company was € 13
billion with over 30,000 employees in the company.
CHOCOLAT POULAINE

• Chocolat Poulaine is one of the oldest chocolate brands in France.


• It is known particularly for it’s bars of eating and cooking chocolate, as well as its
Poulain Orange product, which is a chocolate drink mix.
• Victor Auguste Poulaine began the mass production of chocolate in 1848 in Blois,
France.
• Chocolat Poulain was the sponsor of Tour de la France when it’s distinctive polka
jersey was introduced.

 For six consecutive years, LV was named the world’s most
valuable luxury brand with valuation of 3o billion dollars.
 The brand targets specifically high end customers with deep
pockets. For instance, an LV wallet ranges anywhere between
13,000 Rs to 50,000 Rs and an LV bag ranges from 40,000 to 6
Lakh INR.
 The main reason for such costly handbags are because it is
handmade and generally takes about 1 week to create just one
bag.
 Also, these bags are waterproof and fireproof.

 Chanel is a privately handed company founded by Coco Chanel.


 It is also a high fashion house that specializes in ready to wear
clothes, luxury goods and fashion accessories. Also, it is the top
cosmetic brand in the world.
 Chanel was the first brand which introduced women’s pants and
Suits.
 Also, if you shop at Chanel often enough, you get your own
mannequin.
 It takes hundreds of hours to create a dress- it takes more than
100 hours of work to make a suit and up to 1000 hours to create a
wedding dress.
