REPORTED

SPEECH
Reported Speech that known as “Indirect
Speech” is used to report or convey back
what other have said.

There are 2 ways to convey back what


other have said, such as direct : “He said, “I
goes to library.” and indirect :
“He said that he went to the
library.”
REPORTED STATEMENT
• Use “that” conjunction.
• In report a statement can be done in present or
past.

Present Past

Direct : She says, “I am really
