SAHABA OF PROPHET
• Muhammad( pbuh) is Messenger of Allah &
those (Sahabah) who are with him severe
against disbelievers & merciful amongst
believers. You see them bowing & prostrate in
prayer seeking Bounty from Allah & His Good
pleasure. The mark of them is on their
foreheads bcoz of prostration in Prayers.
• (Surah Fatah-verse-29)
WAKING UP at DAWN
• O you(pbuh) wrapped in Garments
• Stand to pray at night but little.
• Half of it,- or a little less than that,
• Or a little more:and recite Qur’an(aloud) in a
slow(pleasant tone and) style.
• And is Good for Governing (the Soul) and most
suitable for( Understanding )the word of ALLAH.
• ( Surah Mujammil-1-4&6)
Surah Mudassir
• O you(Muhammad pbuh) Enveloped in
Garments
• Arise and Warn!
• And Magnify your ALLAH!!!
• And your Garments Purify !
Spiritual/Physical Benefits (Subah
Sadiq to Ishraq)
• Verily Recitation of Qur’an at Fajr prayer is witnessed
by Angels in charge of Mankind of the
day&night(17:78)Best of your deeds is Prayer.
• Two rak”ahs of Fajr are better than this world&
everything in it.(Sahih Muslim).It stops from great
sins& munkar.
• It draws closer to the Creator by means of
Supplication & prayer. Certain Healing of the soul.
• There is more Ozone in the air at Dawn & gradually
drops at Sunrise.It stimulates Nervous System &
energises mental & physical work ,peak in morning.
Dawn breeze gives pleasure that has no Equal in any
other hour of the day&night
Physical Benefits contd….
• When Sunrises the Ultra violet rays ratio is at its
highest.It stimulates Nerves,motivates people to wake
up & start moving.It is helpful for Vit D through skin
stimulus.
• It stops Long sleep and Avoids Heart Diseases like
Atherosclerosis which may lead to angina, Heart attack
&Physical Lethargy throughout the day.
Obesity,Arthritis.also appear.
• Mental,psychological&physical potentials are at its
Highest level which leads to increased productivity.He
feels energetic& remains in good mood.
• Memory power is at peak betn Dawn to Ishraq. So
students should study at this time.
• At society wide level,it would become Unique&distinct
society that life is Breathed into it from Dawn.
Ishraq to Al-Dhuhar
• After Ishraq, Every student should practice using
Miswak.(Piloo,Babool&Neem) for Oral Hygiene.
• Cortisone secretion is at highest which is needed for
Hard work during this time. Study & discourses should
take place this time. Prophet(pbuh) said Bless my
Ummah in Early Morning. This is the time student&
Teacher should put Maximum Effort in learning &
Teaching for Greater Productivity. Cortisone secretion
at Lowest at Adh-Dhuhar.
• One feels Exhausted & needs rest after 7 hrs. after
waking up at Dawn.
Advocacy & Use of Miswak for Oral
Hygiene
• Kills Gum Bacteria, causing diseases.
• Fights plaque Effectively on Teeth.
• Fights against Caries.
• Removes bad odor breath from Mouth.
• Creates Fragrance in the mouth.
• Effectively cleanse between teeth due to it
parallel bristles.
• Increases Salivation and hence inhibits dry
mouth.
Dhuhar to Asr
• Dhuhar prayer plays its role as the Best source of Comfort &
Tranquillity for the tired Heart & Body.
• Muslim tries to Sleep or Rest for an hour to renew Energy.
• Qayloolah or Siesta is a Must to renew Energy & till Asr
time. Prophet(pbuh) said to seek help of Siesta to get up
for Dawn as we seek help of Suhoor for fasting in the day.
• Ratio of some relaxing chemical Substances in the body
rises during this time which make person to sleep.
• The body is at its Lowest Ebb of Concentration& Energy.If
Qayloolah forgone,Physical&Mental Cordination
decreases.
ASR to MAGHRIB
• At Asr , resume activity again.
• Adrenaline Hormone level rises which creates
Tangible Energy in physical faculties especially
Heart,It is released in peak at this passage of
time.
• Asr prayer plays an important role in preparing
the body especially Heart.Heart is shifting
suddenly from relaxation to activity.
• Children should play Sports during this time.
• Qur’an recommends to Guard
Middle(Asr)prayer.(2:238).
Maghrib to ISHA
• At Maghrib,activities of Body decrease,Cortisone
secretion decrease &exactly opposite of Fajr occur
• Secretion of Melatonin which encourages relaxation &
sleep increase. Body becomes slower & Maghreb
prayer is a Transitional stage.
• ISHA prayer is final stage. Body moves from state of
activity to desire for sleep as darkness spreads.
• Do not encourage visits after Isha.Dont stay up late
unless to honour a guest or seek knowledge. And
ALLAH knows BEST .
• Prophet (pbuh) disliked sleeping before Isha & talking
after it.
