I went to Santiago last year in July.

I have gone to Santiago twice.


My experiences
 On December 2003, I got my bachelor degree at
UDEC University

 On March 2004, I had my first job as a teacher


at San Pedro Nolasco School
 On May 2006, I went to the US to teach

 On August 2007 I came back to Chile and got a


job at UCSC 3 years later
Other experiences
I have practiced rafting twice

I have had 5 different jobs

I haven´t eaten octopus

I have traveled by plane many times

I have gone to Brazil one time


We use the Simple Past tense to talk about
experiences with an specific time in the past.

Subject + Verb past tense + Complement + Time expression


I had my first job on March, 2004

We use the Present Perfect tense to talk about


experiences with no specific time in the past.
