Why Christ came on

Christmas?
What is our response to
it?
1.In salvation
2.In consecration
2 Corinthians 9:15
Pasalamatan nato ang
Dios niining bililhon
kaayong gasa!
– emphasizes the need
of Salvation and
Consecration.
CHRISTM
AS
CHHRISTMAS is a fire of bright
lights, decoration, trees, shopping.
– Things people mainly think of
things they want
But remember there is no
Christmas without Christ.
– 1 Timothy 1:15 Tinuod
angay dawaton ug tuohan sa
hingpit ang giingon nga mianhi
si Cristo Jesus sa kalibotan
aron sa pagluwas sa mga
makasasala ug ako ang labing

present and
said “you shall
call His name
Jesus” (Matt.
1:21)
Why Jesus came?
He came to Love
He came to Live
He came to Die
He came to Redeem
Central Thought:
Could that be the best
Christmas gift of all of
your life? (here on
earth and eternity)
H – Heart
Proverbs 23:6 my son give
me your heart and let
your eyes keep my ways
– receive Jesus in your
heart
R – Ruler

Matt. 2:1-18
(a ruler that every knees will bow and every
tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord) Phil.
2:10-11
There was a ruler over the land of Israel when
Jesus was born. But king Herod was disturbed
when he heard that one had been born who
was to be king of Jews, so he killed all the
babies under the age of two in the area where
Jesus was born. An angel appeared to Joseph
and told him to flee to Egypt. The Jewish
expected an earthly ruler to come that will
saved them. Jesus did not set up a kingdom
on this earth to rule over. Instead, He wants
to rule in our hearts. One day He will come
again, He will come as a ruler.
The Bible tells us that Jesus is the
King of kings, Lord of lords and
every knee bows , every tongue shall
confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
■Phil. 2:10-11 Busa mangluhod ang
tanang binuhat nga atua sa langit, sa
ibabaw sa yuta ug sa ilalom sa yuta sa
pagpasidungog sa ngalan ni Jesus.
11Ug ang tanan magsangyaw nga si
Jesu-Cristo mao ang Ginoo, alang sa
himaya sa Dios nga Amahan.
I – Inn

(Balay abotanan)
Rev. 3:20) Jesus is knocking at the door of your life
will you turn Him away, saying there is no room?
There was no room at the
inn for Mary (and Jesus)
I am sure that the
innkeeper did not
realised who he was
turning away. Many today
are like the innkeeper
S – Star

A star lead the wise men to Jesus. Today we have the

Holy Spirit to lead us closer to Jesus. We need to ask
the Holy Spirit to fill our life so that we will know
more about Jesus
T – Tree

We declare and hang gifts on trees – the cross. But

many of those did not admire God’s gift, instead they
mocked and laughed at Him, yet He prayed “Father,
forgive them for they didn’t know what they are doing
M – Manger

Jesus left His home in heaven. What a contrast

between the glory of heaven and a manger –
an animals feed box.
How Jesus humbled himself
and was prepared to give up
everything! He di not come
as a master, but as a servant.
Let this attitude be in you
which was also in Christ. Who
took upon Him. The form of a
servant. (Phil. 2:5-9)
A – Angel

The angel came with glad tidings of

great joy. They told the shepherd
where and how to find Jesus.
Today we have this ministry – to tell the
good news about Jesus to others. We
must tell them how and where to find
Jesus – the announcement came to the
humble shepherd. The Good News about
Jesus is that, He came to all, including
the plain and ordinary. He comes to
anyone with a heart humble enough to
accept Jesus. Whoever you are, whatever
you do, you can have Jesus in your life.
He accepts you of who you are.
S – Saviour

The real reason Jesus

He take the punishment that we
deserved for our sins.
1 Peter 2:24 didto sa krus
gidala ni Cristo diha sa iyang
lawas ang tanan tang mga sala
aron dili na kita magpakasala
kondili magkinabui nga
matarong. Pinaagi sa iyang mga
samad nangaayo kamo – Roma
Hebreo 2:3 nan, unsaon
man nato paglikay sa
silot kon dili kita
magtagad niining dakong
kaluwasan.
