Introduction

• Exam Seating Arrangement is specially design for

automation of exam system.
• This system deals with the Seating Arrangement
process of exam online instead of manually.
• This application will be used for the automatic
seating arrangement of seats on the basis of number
of students, number of classes and number of benches
in a class.
Motivation

• Generally at the time of examination it causes crowd

at the notice board. So it create difficult for the
students to get there roll number and classroom.
• It will save time of students for searching their roll
number and students don’t have to go earlier before
the examination for searching their roll number, class
and seat.
Objective

• To reduce the paper work and storage area.

• To compute the performance of the system for
minimum resources usage.
• To minimize the limitation and problems of the
existing system.
• To reduce the man power.
Scope

• The scope of the project is the designing a web

interface and it will be given to a college for future
use.
• This project is use for the all types of examination
like university exams, banking exams and other exam
also.

Analysis

• Ability to track various student seating arrangement.

• Ability to find students seat number in a particular
class.
• Detail Exam room arrangement with student seat
number and row wise classes.
• Track each student seating arrangement for each
exam and each room.
Problem Defination

• Most of the institutions are becoming unwilling to

centralize examination system day by day. One of the
major causes is that with the increasing number of
students, courses and departments, it becomes almost
unmanageable to allocate proper exam seats.
• It is quite difficult to properly allocate the seats
among a large number of students whenever the
students are from different subjects.

• Android version : - Jelly Bean or above version

• RAM :- 256 MB or above
• Memory :- 1 GB
Hardware Requirement

• Operating system : Any PC O.S.

• Tools : Dreamweaver,Xampp
• Technology Used : PHP
• Backend Used : Access Database
• Server Used : Tomcat
 Working System
• Due to some drawbacks and limitations of manual work of
exam arrangement process we decided to develop the
computerized system with online facility.
• Following are some Current solutions to enhance the
application. To overcome the drawbacks and limitations of
existing system.
1. Easiness in modification of data.
2. User friendly.
3. Reports are easily generated.
4. Sharing the data is possible.
5. Very few Paperwork.
6. Reduce man power.

Working
• In system design architecture, it will be dividing into
mainly two sections as:
1)Administrator
In administrator panel, it having a unique id and
password so that whenever it want to access the data that
time admin must have to enter valid user id and
password.
2) Student
 In student panel, it has a unique roll number in which
after entering a roll number in a seating section
authentication process get starts.
 So that if a student is a valid user that time it will
display a roll number, building, seat and paper.

 Advantages
• As compared to existing system our system take very
less time to execute all the data and display on the
student’s panel.
• This system reduces a lot of burden to the people in
examination department.
• The randomizing of students roll numbers is going to
be very effective.
• This system provide graphical interface in 2d graphic
which a very attractive for user access.
• The system that has created take the backup of
previous data for future purpose.
 Limitations
• Administrator has to fill lot of data manually if there
will be no any sequence in roll number.
• As college sessional examination has two students on a
single desk bench and this system will only arrange
students such that only one student will allocated on a
single desk bench.
• This system is design only for university examination.
