 Solids don’t change shape easily

 In solids, the particles are very tightly
packed with each other and cannot
move.
 Solid particles don’t move around.
 Solid particles are in an aligned array.
Properties of liquid

 In liquids, the particles are less tightly

packed and can move a little.
 Liquids have a definite volume but do
not have a fixed shape.
 Liquids take shape of their container.
 Liquids have surface tension.
Properties of Gas

 Gas is invisible.
 Gas particles move around freely.
