HOW IS THE PEOPLE USING THE SPACE?
 The space was used by the individuals for what it
is designed and also for some unconventional
purposes.
 People used to use the tables for completing their
pending assignments.
 As there were lack of chairs, people tend to sit on
the tables and have a chit-chat session.
WHAT KIND OF OBJECTS DO THEY CARRY?
 They used to carry all their materials of daily use
such as bags, portfolio bags, container portfolio,
folders.
 During the lunch hours, few people used to keep
their bag in the class and bring their lunchboxes
in the canteen.
HOW DO THEY ADJUST THE SPACE?
 During the lunch hours, when the sunlight was
direct on the tables, people used to move their
tables to the shadowed part.
 As there were lack of chairs, few people occupied
the places near the tree.
OBSERVING ROOM OF DEVELOPMENT
 The problem of wooden flooring is faced by
students and teachers on a daily basis. But, it is
neglected and they suffer from it.
 So, if the wooden floorings are repaired with little
modification such that it doesn’t requite more
maintainence, it would work perfectly well.
 Or, changing the wooden flooring and instead
introducing a different flooring would make it
quite beneficial for users as well as the observers.
TYPES OF FLOORINGS
The types of wooden flooring include:
 Solid Wood Flooring

 Engineered Wood Flooring

 Acrylic- Impregnated Wood Flooring

denoted by thickness and width of the wood
planks. It has a set width. But, the thickness
may vary from 5/6 inch to ¾ inch

thicknesses with varying widths. It is available
in 2/1 inch thickness and ¾ inch thickness
 PARQUET FLOORING: The have different look
from typical hardwoods. They are made of
geometrical patterns composed of individual
wood pieces.
ENGINEERED WOOD FLOORING
 It is produced by adhering layers of plastic
laminate veneer with real wood. The main
difference between laminate flooring and this
flooring is that kaminate flooring does not
contain actual wood.
ACRYLIC-IMPREGNATED WOOD FLOORING
