PHP (acrónimo recursivo de PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor) es
un lenguaje de código abierto muy popular especialmente
adecuado para el desarrollo web y que puede ser incrustado
en HTML.
Creado originalmente por RasmusLerdorf en 1994, en la
actualidad está publicado bajo la licencia PHP, considerada
porla Free Software Fundation como una una licencia de
Sofware Libre.
Lo mejor de utilizar PHP es su extrema simplicidad para el
principiante, pero a su vez ofrece muchas características
avanzadas para los programadores profesionales. No sienta
miedo de leer la larga lista de características de PHP. En
unas pocas horas podrá empezar a escribir sus primeros
scripts.
Aunque el desarrollo de PHP está centrado en la
programación de scripts del lado del servidor, se puede
utilizar para muchas otras cosas.

Software Fundation like a free software license .
The best of using PHP is it extreme simplicity for the
beginner, in turn offers many advanced characterictics for
the professional programmers. Do not be afraid to read the

write your first scripts.
Although the development of PHP is focused on scripting

Java es un lenguaje de programación y una
plataforma informática comercializada por primera
vez en 1995 por Sun Microsystems.
Hay muchas aplicaciones y sitios web que no
funcionarán a menos que tenga Java instalado y cada
día se crean más.
Java es rápido, seguro y fiable. Desde portátiles
hasta centros de datos, desde consolas para juegos
hasta súper computadoras, desde teléfonos móviles
hasta Internet, Java está en todas partes.

What is Java technology and what do I need it for?

Java is a programming language and an IT platform
marketed for the first time in 1995 by Sun
Microsystems.
There are many applications and websites that will
not work unless you have Java installed and more
are created each day.
Java is fast, safe and reliable. From laptops to
data centers, from game consoles to super
computers, from mobile phones to the Internet,
Java is everywhere.
 SIMILITUDES Y DIFERENCIAS

La semejanzas son que son lenguajes de programación los cuales utilizan bases de
datos, eventos, métodos, etc.
Son utilizados para la creación de paginas web.

Ambos PHP y Java son predominantes e integrales a la web moderna. Y dado que
pueden ser usados para conseguir algunas de las mismas tareas, posiblemente no
existan dos lenguajes que inciten tanto debate sobre sus relativas fortalezas y
debilidades.

La diferencia es que php es una lengua exactamente para paginas web mientras que
java utiliza sintaxis como c++, xml adaptación del SGML que no es un lenguaje
cualquiera.

Ambos son demasiado parecidos en cuanto a una programación básica... la

diferencia que es que php se ejecuta cuando la página se recarga y javascript se
ejecuta sin necesidad de recargar la página.

They are used for the creation of web pages.

Both PHP and Java are predominant and integral to the modern web. And since they
can be used to achieve some of the same tasks, there may not be two languages
that encourage so much debate about their relative strengths and weaknesses.

The difference is that php is a language exactly for web pages while java uses
syntax such as c ++, xml adaptation of SGML that is not just any language.

Both are too similar in terms of basic programming, the difference being that php is
executed when the page is reloaded and javascript is executed without having to
reload the page.
