- The document describes a classroom management technique called the showing method, which involves teacher explanation, modeling, student practice, and feedback to teach concepts and skills.
- It then discusses using this method to modify the impolite behavior of students by setting objectives like showing respect for elders and using greetings, roleplaying good behaviors, and following instructions correctly.
- The rationale given is that some young children do not know how to behave politely or use greetings, so this method aims to change bad behaviors into good ones through principles of social learning theory and operant conditioning.

BEHAVIOR TO MODIFY
good behaviour. Follows instruction correctly. RATIONALE
Very young children are likely to show their behaviour.
Some children know how to respect with older people, some are not. The question is ”How can a teacher manage children with rude behaviour?” Now-a-days children are so rude, they don’t know how to give respect with others, even saying simple greetings like “good morning”, thank you” and “you’re welcome”. I chose this behaviour because I want to change the bad behaviour of young children into good one. THEORIES Albert Bandura’s Social Learning Theory -is also called observational theory In this theory, children can take place one person observers, and then imitates the behaviour of the person. Using this practice, children can strengthen their response to the positive behaviour. Skinner’s Reinforcement and Operant Conditioning Proved that the reinforcement is a powerful tool in shaping and controlling behaviour in out of the classroom. Using this practice, teacher can give reward to the children that show good behaviour by giving them praises or food. PROCEDURE

This makes him/her feel good and want to continue doing the right thing, or let the child watch his/her favourite cartoon show. During preschool, children begin to show their
independence. Children can control their behaviour and allow them the opportunity to behave. Children can respond to the situation appropriately using the strategy that the teacher uses. REFLECTION AND RECOMMENDATION
It is not easy to handle a big class that have
difficulty in understanding the concept of impoliteness especially when they raise that way by their parents. The first thing that the teacher can do is by teaching the young children the good behaviour. Teach them slowly but surely
