 Our mission is to sell Sweet Spot Beats record company and contract to a
great artist that will improve our publicity.
 To find an artist that will create music that will be on top chart boards.
Selling the contract and the record company to someone who is going to
do an amazing job is very important to us.
 Cardi B ~ why did we chose Cardi B?
 One of the fastest growing artist in America.
 In 2017 her hit “Bodak Yellow” was peaked as #1 on the billboard.
 One of her latest hits “I like it” was also peaked at #1 on the billboard as of
7/7/2018.
 Cardi has also won Single of the year, Best New Hip-Hop Artist, Hustler of the
year, and made-you-look award in 2017.
 Stated in an article From “the Bradford” cardi is talented in a mind of
choosing artists to duet with that are already on top such as chance the
rapper, 21 savage, and Bruno mars.
• We at Spot Sweet Beats will provide a contract and do what we are
talented to do, which is to help produce the greatest hits ever.
• Sweet Spot Beats agrees to produce recordings and the music requested by
the artist.
• We will also work with getting the music advertised and strive to produce
some of the best records yet.
• Sweet Spot Beats has decided to sign a contract lasting 2 years and
following with 8 recordings.
• This agreement includes the things provided for the artist during this time
period, which are melody, beat, rhythm, harmony, and key.
• Recording will be finished on the date of April 15, 2019.

• Released to the public on the date of April 20, 2019.

 CONTROL:
• The company and artist both decide what goes on the recording.
• The company decides the background and decoration of the recording
but the artist decides the title.
• However, the Non-circumvention of the company which shows the artist
cooperation is included in the contract.
 COST & EXPENSES :
• Sweet Spot Beats will cover all cost that come with recording the music and
utilizes as well.
• The artist will be responsible for expenses such as background dancers, extra
musicians, studio time in use and album cover art.
• In order to make sure expenses are recovered we will keep track of the
date, time and the amount of money that was paid.
 ASSIGNMENT OF RIGHTS:
• The artist will have the right to assign the record to site such as YouTube,
Spotify and sound cloud.
• Sweet Spot beats has permission to distribute the recording to any site that is
on the contract on the release date.
• The artist has given permission to Sweet Spot Beats to use the name and
any biographical information for advertisement.
 ROYALTIES:
• The profit will be split between the company and artist by a legal binding
saying that the artist receives 40% of profit and the company receives the
60% of the profit.
• The company will collect the royalties and any other fees.
• Some of the profits will be given to any background musicians, dancers etc.
• The letterhead gives Cardi B an overview of what will be explained in the
contract and what the company will offer and provide. The business card
provides an address, contact number and an email.
 RES0LUTION?
• If there is a dispute between the artist and the company we will take steps of
arbitration and solve the conflict outside of court in matter of agreeing.
Choosing arbitration allows the company and the artist to receive evidence
and hear each other out in a private process. However, if a final decision
can not be made the court has the right to make the final decision.
