INTRODUCTION

SWOT ANALYSIS
 Strengths:-
 It is a pioneer in online trading with a turnover of Rs. 500-1000 Crore
and more than 5000 people working in the organization.
 Employees are highly empowered and strong communication network.
 Number 1 in registrar and transfer agent and dealer of investment
Products in India.
 Good co-operation between employees.

 Weakness:-
 Localized presence due to insufficient investments for country wide
expansion.
 High brokerage charges but now they have overcome this by a prepaid
scheme in which brokerage is reduced to half.
 High employee turnover.
 Lack of awareness among customers because of non- aggressive
promotional strategies.
 Opportunities:-
 With booming capital market it can successfully launch new services
and raise its client base.
 Marketing at rural and semi- urban areas.
 Increasing usage of online trading may boost a whole new breed of
investors for trading in securities.
 As interest on fixed deposits with post office and banks are all time
low, more and more small investors are entering into stock market.

 Threats:-
 Lack of sufficient branch offices for speedy delivery of services.
 Increasing number of competitors.
 Constant pressure to be cost competitive to meet customer’s
expectations.
 Aggressive promotional strategies by close competitors may hamper
Sharekhan’s acceptance by new clients.
LEARNING
 In this two month of internship I have learn about the share
market and mutual funds (what is MF? ,how its work? ,and how it
is beneficial for customer)
 I have learn the professional ethics of corporate work, punctuality
and the importance of target (i.e., the importance of time limit)
 I have learn the best lesson which is going to help for my entire life
is the importance of savings i.e., FIRST SAVE THEN SPEND.
 Also learn the role and the importance of financial advisor for
customer.
 Learned How to communicate with customers?, do marketing and
deal with different circumstances while doing marketing during my
internship.
 I have gain practical knowledge of marketing and learn how to
corporate with our colleagues.
 Learned to be patient and self –motivated when nothing workout,
learn how make strategies and work accordingly, also learn how to
work in a team and make corporation with them.
EXPERIENCE
 In review with this internship has been an excellent and
rewarding experience for me.
 I had explored many new things under this internship. Had
given presentations and actively participate in the activities.
 Respected Mr. Chirag Joshi sir has thought us many things
,solved our all queries and explain many things of corporate
world which is definitely going to help us to face ,survive and
get success in corporate world .it was a really great
experience working with him .
 It was an amazing and great experience during market
exposure as customer does not even listen. I have learned to
communicate with customers and try to convince them.
 There were many good as well as bad experience I have
during my internship especially during market exposure
.which will help me to meet my future opportunities.
