I would like to do this project to see how our daily actions

affect the plant growth, the soap and detergent affect the
groing and creation of plants in different ways. I want to see
which are the most extreme changes in plants, and why.

I would like to make this project because in
the word there is a lot of pollution in
The word so we can find an simple way to to
get off of them

Plants are notoriously adept at absorbing PLANTS

gases through pores on the surface of their
leaves. It's this skill that facilitates
photosynthesis, the process by which plants REMOVE
convert light energy and carbon dioxide into
chemical energy to fuel growth. •
But scientists studying the air-purification POLLUTION
capacities of indoor plants have found that
plants can absorb many other gases in
addition to carbon dioxide, including a long ENERGY
list (VOCs). Benzene (found in some plastics,
fabrics, pesticides and cigarette smoke) and
formaldehyde (found in some cosmetics, dish CHEMICAL
detergent, fabric softener and carpet
cleaner) are examples of common indoor
VOCs that plants help eliminate. CARBON
• SCIENTIFIC QUESTIONS:
• HOW DOES SOAP AND DETERGENT IN WATER AFFECT THE PLANT GROWTH?
• HOW DO DIFFERENT KINDS OF SOAPS AFFECT THE PLANT GROWTH ,ALSO HOW
THE COMPOSITION AND THE MODIFICATION PROCESS AFFECTS THE GROWTH OF IT?
• WHICH PLANT SPECIFICALLY WE CA USE TO SOLVE THIS?
• HOW DO WE CAN RECOLECT THAT POLLUTION FOR THE PLANTS?

• HYPOTHESIS:
• IF I GROW A BEAN WITH DETERGENT IN WATER, THE PH WILL MIX. THEN THE PLANT WILL DIE,
BECAUSE THE BEAN NEEDS A PH OF 7 AND THE DETERGENT HAS A PH OF 10. THE PLANT
WOULD REACT NEGATIVELY AND DIE.
