services that interact with the environment
• Environmental Impacts – it’s a change of the environment whether
it’s adverse or beneficial, as a whole or party, resulting from the
organization’s environmental aspect
• Environmental Aspect of an Organization/Company – It is the
organization/company’s activities, the production of products, or the
services that interact with the environment.
• Environmental Impact of an Organization/Company – It is a change of
the Environment whether it’s adverse or beneficial, partly or wholly,
resulting from the organization/company’s Environmental Aspect.
• What will you do?
• First is to list all of the organization/company’s Environmental Aspects
like waste streams, energy usage/electricity usage, water usage,
transportation, oils & chemicals, and others that interact with the
environment. Then Determined what is the environmental impact of
each aspect may cause in the environment.
• Next step is to design a scoring system that involved severity,
occurrence, and detection. And solve the Risk Priority Number

• Aspects with High risk Priority number should be assigned specific
objectives, targets, and programs.
• Environmental Objectives are the overall goals of the business
organization of improving environmental performance through its
environmental management system
• Environmental targets provide short term goals in order to achieved
the overall objectives. It’s like a stepping stone to achieve the
environmental Objectives. Environmental Objectives have several
targets, like to reduce solid waste by 10 percent going to land fill.
