QUESTION WORD + Be (am, is ,are) + SUBJECT + VERB ?

REMEMBER:
The use of the VERB TO BE (AM, IS, ARE) depending on the subject.
We use the auxiliary AM for I, IS for he or she, and ARE for you, we
and they.
LET’S ASK QUESTIONS FOR THE

For example,

Philip is working in San Isidro now.


Question: Where is he working?

 We use WHERE for San Isidro. (A place)


 We use IS because we are talking about Philip (he).

 We use the verb WORK and it has -ING at the end

Look at this example:
The children are going to the park
Question: Where are they going?

 We use WHERE for THE PARK. (Place)


 We use ARE because we are talking about the
children. (They)
 We use the verb GO and it ends in –ING.
