 The Five Coming Of Elijah
 1st kings 17:1
1. ¶ And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of
Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth,
before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain
these years, but according to my word.
 He called for drought during the reign of King Ahab. He
raised the son of the widow of Zarephath from death.
He had a show – down with 450 false prophets of Baal
and proved that the God of Israel was the only true
God. His miraculous ministry continues.
 The Second Coming Of Elijah
 2nd Kings 2:11 – 15
11. And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold,
there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both
asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.
12. And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of
Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took
hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces.
13. ¶ He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and went
back, and stood by the bank of Jordan;
14. And he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the
waters, and said, Where is the LORD God of Elijah? and when he also had
smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over.
15. And when the sons of the prophets which were to view at Jericho saw
him, they said, The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha. And they came to
meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him.
 The anointing that was upon the
ministry of Elisha was the anointing
of Elijah. The sons of the prophets
confirmed that in verse 15 of the
above scriptures. The ministry of
Elisha threfore was the second
coming of Elijah’s ministry
 The Third Coming Of Elijah
 Matthew 17:12 – 13
12. But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not,
but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the
Son of man suffer of them.
13. Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the
Baptist.
 In verse 13, the disciples understood that He spake unto them of john
the Baptist. So the ministry of john the Baptist was the third coming of
Elijah’s ministry. Then in verse 12, He said “ Elijah is come already”
 Clearly, the Lord Jesus was talking about two separate ministries of the
same Elijah’s anointing: one in the future and one that had already
past. If the Lord was talking about one and the same ministry, he
wouldn’t have said “ he shall first come, and restore all things” “ is
already come”
 The Lord knew that Elijah’s ministry that will restore all things was in the
future and that it did not pertain to the disciples. He therefore
redirected His sermon to the ministry of John the Baptist, which
pertained to the disciples. He began to say “ Elijah is come already” John
the Baptist did not restore all things. If John had restored all things, the
rapture would have taken place in John’s time and Paul wouldn’t have
come after John to reveal scriptures John did not reveal.
 The restoration of all things before Christ comes the second time, as
also spoken of in Acts 3: 19 – 21, did not pertain to John
19. Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted
out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of
the Lord;
20. And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
21. Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all
things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets
since the world began.
 What pertained to John is Matthew 17: 12 -13; Malachi 3:1 and
Luke 1:17
 Malachi 3:1
1. ¶ Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way
before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his
temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in:
behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.
 Luke 1:17
17. And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the
hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the
wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.
 The Fourth Coming Of Elijah
 Matthew 17: 10 – 11
10. And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias
must first come?
11. And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come,
and restore all things.
 Is the fourth ministry of Elijah in another prophet which restores all
things ( reveals the mystery of the entire Bible) Before the second of
Lord Jesus Christ.
 This elijah who appears on the scene before the second coming of Jesus
Christ, fulfills Malachi 4:5
5. Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the
great and dreadful day of the LORD:
 Matthew 17:11
11. And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come,
and restore all things.
 Luke 17:30
30. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
 Revelation 10:7
7. But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the
mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

 Revelation 3:14
14. ¶ And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These
things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of
the creation of God;
 Zachariah 14:7
7. But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day,
nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be
light.
 Acts 3:20 – 21
20. And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
21. Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all
things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets
since the world began.
 Without a shadow of doubt, the fourth Ministry of Elijah was fulfilled in
the humble ministry of Prophet William Marrion Branham, though he
himself never said that. It is abundantly evident that Brother Branham
lifted the Lord Jesus Christ higher than any man has, in the history of
man. His ministry was a proof that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday
today and forever.
 His sermons correct errors that have been preached in all denominations
during seven church ages and restores the original faith that was preached
before the church went into apostate state. His sermons reveals all the
mysteries of God as spoken of in Revelation 10:7, and restores the heart of the
children to their fathers ( i.e. The faith of the early Bride returns to the end –
time Bride. ). This prophet prepares a Gentile Bride for the second coming of
the Lord Jesus Christ by restoring to her the pure unadulterated Word of God.
 Matthew 16:28
28. Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till
they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.
 The Fifth Coming Of Elijah
 Zechariah 4:12 – 14
12. And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive
branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil
out of themselves?
13. And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be?
And I said, No, my lord.
14. Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the
Lord of the whole earth.
 The fifth ministry of Elijah is not to the Gentile Bride but to the jews.
This ministry fulfills Revelation 11:4 – 6.

4. These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing
before the God of the earth.
5. And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth,
and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must
in this manner be killed.
6. These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their
prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to
smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
 Elijah is not a prophet to the Jews, God will give him a jewish prophet,
Moses to go with him to open the eyes ( the understanding of 144,000
Jews by their ministry. Now Israel is in blindness, denying their Messiah.
Elijah and Moses appear in Revelation 11:4 as two olive trees and two
candlesticks. In Revelation 11:6, these prophets have power to shut the
heaven, that it rain not and the power to turn water into blood in his
ministry in Egypt and Elijah shut the heaven from raining during his
ministry.
 Elijah did not taste death because ha has not finished his ministry. When
the Lord Jesus was showing the rehearsal of His coming on mount
transfiguration, these same prophets Elijah and Moses appeared with
Him.
 Matthew 17:1 – 7
1. ¶ And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother,
and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,
2. And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun,
and his raiment was white as the light.
3. And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with
him.
4. Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to
be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee,
and one for Moses, and one for Elias.

5. While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and
behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in
whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
6. And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore
afraid.
7. And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not
afraid.
60-1218 The Uncertain Sound
 In verse 2 He was transfigured before them. The Greek says “ He
changed His fashion” Oh, look! Look at the order of resurrection.
 393 Now notice, only thing He done, He took off His mask of humanity
and become in a glorified state. See? He changed His fashion.
 In verse 3, now notice, when they seen Him standing there. And before that,
there appeared to Him, Moses and Elijah.
o Moses, was, represented the ones that had died and was sleeping in the
grave, ‘cause Moses died and was buried. Nobody know where he was
buried at. But he represented the ones that were asleep, when He come.
o Elijah represented the Translated ones who didn’t have to die. See? There
you are. See
o Peter, James and John; represented that remnant of Israel standing there
saying, “ Lo, that’s our God Who we believed on.” There’s your hundred and
forty – four thousand.
