Key Question 1: State the equation linking resultant force, mass and acceleration. State the units of each.
Expected answer:
Resultant force = mass x acceleration

Key Question 2: Sketch two graphs to show (i) the relationship between acceleration and resultant force and
(ii) the relationship between acceleration and mass. Which relationship is directly proportional and which
relationship is inversely proportional?
