Mysql Service Installation

 Put “MySQL” folder into the D root directory


 Copy “my.ini” file and paste it in windows folder

 Run “cmd.exe” . Mostly, it’s better to run as administrator to gain all
privileges

Click enter for the commands to be executed.

To install a Microsoft Loopback adapter in Windows 7

 hdwwiz.exe
 We can use this command
to add a new device.
 “MySQL” need a new
network card for IP
address.

 1.Click Start – Search for cmd, right-click cmd and select “Run as
Administrator”
 2.From the command prompt, run “hdwwiz.exe“. This should launch the “Add
Hardware Wizard“. Click Next.

manually select from a list
(Advanced)” and click Next.

select Network Adapters
and click Next.

Loopback Adapter” under
Network Adapter and click
Next. This should start the
installation. Click Finish when
the installation completes.

If possible, identify the adapter with a name you can remember


easily and to differentiate it from the other adapters

 Prerequisites
 The related settings of the operating system are completed.
 The MySQL database is installed successfully.

Run the setup package. Wait for a while, and the


following dialog box appears subsequently. Click Next.

Accept the license agreement. Click Yes.

Enter your personal information, and then click Next.

The OTNM2000 can be installed in two modes: server


mode and client mode.

 Select the working


mode. Select
Server Mode, and
then click Next.

 Server Mode
 The OTNM2000 server is connected to devices, and manages the devices.
 A user can directly configure and manage a device through the OTNM2000
server, and detect the performance changes and alarm events of the device
through polling.
 The OTNM2000 server is configured with a GUI management module, data
 collection module, and data processing module.
 The OTNM2000 server has independent database space.
 To ensure normal running of the system, the server needs to enable the
related services.
 The OTNM2000 server allows simultaneous access of at least 32 clients.

 Client Mode
 A user can only configure and manage a device indirectly by accessing the
OTNM2000 server. The OTNM2000 is not directly connected to any device.
 The OTNM2000 is configured only with a GUI management module. Its GUIs
are the same as those of the OTNM2000 server, and have the same operation
effect as that of the GUIs of the OTNM2000 server.
 The OTNM2000 does not require any database space. The OTNM2000 can
work normally only after connecting to the database table space of the
OTNM2000 server.
 The OTNM2000 does not need to enable the related services.

Choose a database according to the database used on
the server.

 Select MySQL and


then click Next.

 If you select MySQL, click Next. In the alert box that appears
subsequently, check whether the IP address is correct.

 IP address indicates the


IP address of the
database connected to
the PC. If the IP address
is inconsistent with the
actual one, enter the
correct IP address. If the
IP address is correct,
select Next.

Set the installation path.

 It is recommended that
the master program
should be installed in
disk D. You can click
Browse… to modify the
installation path. After
setting the installation
path, click Next.
