What is evaluation ??

Evaluation is the process of collecting and


processing information to measure students’
learning outcomes and monitor students’
competency achievement
There are three types of assessment :

• Assessment of learning outcomes by educators


example : Authentic assessment, daily assessment,

• Assessment of learning outcomes by the education


unit example : UAS, USBN

• Assessment of learning outcomes by the


Government Example : UN/UNBK

• UKK ( Ujian Kenaikan Kelas )  PAT ( Penilaian Akhir Tahun )


Authentic Assesment

Assessment in which students are asked to perform real-world tasks that


demonstrate meaningful application of essential knowledge and skills.

K-13 requires the use of authentic assessment. Authentic assessment requires the
realization of authentic learning.

In authentic learning, students are asked to gather information with the scientific
approach, understand various phenomena or symptoms and their relationships with one
another in depth, and link what is learned with the real world
There are 3 aspects included in authentic assessment:

1. Attitude assessment : observation, self-assessment, peer-


assessment, teacher’s journals

2. Knowledge assessment : test (oral or written),


assignments

3. Skill assessment : performance, project, product,


portfolio

Daily test

Daily test an activity which is done periodically to monitor and measure


students’ competence after undergoing one basic competence (KD) or
more.
Final semester test

 PAS ( Penilaian Akhir Semester ) is an activity carried out by


educators to measure student competency achievement at the end of
the semester

 PAT ( Penilaian Akhir Tahun ) is an activity carried out by educators


to measure student competency achievement at the end of the 2nd
semester.

 25% materials are from 1st semester, and 75% are from the 2nd
semester.
A student will be promoted to the next grade if:

• There are a maximum of 2 subjects which do not meet the KBM

• Knowledge (Cognitive) score for Ki.3 should be completed.

• Skill (Psychomotor) score for Ki.4 should be completed.

• Score for Ki.1 and Ki.2 must be categorized as baik (good).


National Final Exam

National Final Exam is administered in the Indonesia as a

means of nationally assessing students’ learning

achievement at the end of each educational institution level


National Final Exam Mechanism :
• The assessment of learning outcomes by the Government is carried out in the form of
a National Examination (UN) and / or other forms in the sake of controlling the
quality of education

• Implementation of National Examination by the National Education Standards


Agency (BSNP)

• Results of the National Examination are delivered to students in the form of


certificates of national examinationUN results used as input in learning; process
improvement

• The results of the National Examination are delivered to the related parties as a basis
for: mapping the quality of the program and / or education unit; consideration of
selection for joining higher education level; and fostering and providing assistance to
education units
