De este modo, los agrónomos, biólogos dependen cada vez más de los científicos
informáticos para encontrar nuevas soluciones y del software para aplicar esas
soluciones.
Más importante aún, las computadoras han sido esenciales para procesar las
imágenes generadas durante la microscopía de alto rendimiento de grandes
cantidades y variedades de muestras biológicas en una variedad de condiciones.
Además, ahora es posible obtener imágenes de organismos pequeños intactos únicos
con alta resolución y en grande cantidades, lo que resulta en conjuntos de datos
masivos que están muy por encima de la escala accesible por observación subjetiva.
El análisis de datos de imagen requiere técnicas como la inteligencia artificial para
reconstruir volúmenes de imágenes de numerosas partes superpuestas (registro); para
buscar características biológicamente relevantes (segmentación); para seguir objetos
relevantes en el espacio y el tiempo (seguimiento); y para comparar especímenes a
través del mapeo a atlas digitales de morfología, anatómicos o celulares.

Analizar
Utilice ImageJ, Octave / MATLAB, R / R-studio, Phyton / Orange, KNIME, scripts y
otras herramientas para ejecutar el análisis de datos en OMERO y guardar los resultados
en el servidor.
Los ajustes de representación, incluidos los colores y los rangos de intensidad, se
pueden ajustar y guardar para cualquier imagen. En los grupos apropiados, otros
miembros del grupo pueden guardar sus propios ajustes para las imágenes compartidas.
El complemento OMERO ImageJ permite que las imágenes en OMERO se abran
directamente en ImageJ / Fiji. Guarde ROI y superposiciones, resultados, nuevas
imágenes o imágenes modificadas de ImageJ en OMERO.
