A written fatwa issued by (Indonesian Muslim Leader
Committee) MUI to state the halalness of a product based
on auditing process performed by LPPOM-MUI.
Validity of MUI halal certificate : 2 (two) years..

Halal Product :
Product that has halal certificate and fulfills halalness
requirements according to Islamic law.

• Fundamental Requirements
 Not using materials that contain porcine and its
derivates.
 Not using materials that contain khamr, and its
derivates.
 All materials of animal origin must come from Halal,
animal that slaughtered according to Islamic law.
 Not using materials that contain carrion, blood, and
other materials from human organs.
 Usage of production facilities, storage, process location
for Halal product and non halal product are not allowed
alternately.
