Objective:-
Major KPI’s like SQI,SD and TCH Drop Improvement.

Actions Taken:-
1.CDD dump audited but no major discrepancy found.
2.Alarms checked for TG/CF/CON etc no major alarms found.
3.Dynamic Half rate parameters(DTHAMR,DTHNAMR) were
changed to reduce half rate Traffic.
4.Cell load Sharing(CLSSTATE) putted OFF.
5.Cells in Hierarchical Cell Structure (HCS) were putted under
same Layer.

And lastly with no improvements by above mentioned

parameter changes and audits, Frequency Plan for whole city
was changed.

Still no KPI improvements were visible.

Since situation of KPI’s were critical so physical visit/audit of whole
city was planned.

Observation during visit/audit of Sites:-

Wrong BTS wiring between RX Splitter and DTRU was found.

(Simple wiring in BTS with RX splitter was done which in actual
has to be cross wired, simple wiring is done incase CXU is used).

Results:-
The improvement in KPI’s were visible from very next day and
positive trend continued till whole city was audited.
