Carding
• Doffer Diameter “27inch”
• Doffer rpm = 10rpm conventional, 25-30 high speed, 40rpm & above
• Draft: - 80-120
• Sliver hank: - 0.12-.16
• Waste% = 4-6% Flexible cards, 3-5% Metallic cards, 1% for Synthetics
Draw frame
• Rate of Delivery = 200-300 mts/min
• Draft: - 6-10, Doubling – 6 to 10
• Efficiency: - 85%
• Waste: - 0-0.5%
• Sliver hank: - 0.12-0.16 Ne
Simplex
• Spl. Speed: - 800-1000rpm(conventional), 1000-1400rpm
