Out of these things 40% of the respondents revealed that they carry laptops
daily to the university while 30% of them agreed on carrying bags and 20%
responded to books and 10% of them responded to other things.

Based on the response it has been found the students consider security to be
the most important factor while availing a locker facility in the block with
the mean of 1.56, while price was ranked second with the mean of 2.80 and
subsequently followed by location, accessibility ease and space available.

From this study we found that most of the students would likely prefer to avail
locker facility on the daily basis i.e. 64% while only 10 out of 50 respondents i.e.
20% expressed their preference to avail locker facility on the weekly basis and very
few agreed to avail the facility on the monthly or semester basis.

From this we have analyzed that on Tuesday 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., it is
most likely that the large number of students will access the locker facility.

 Place – Taking accessibility ease into concern we have thought of


installing lockers 50 of each at three different places, first at the
entrance of the block near the gate, second at 4th floor and at 6th
floor.

Promotion and Distribution Plan

 Distribute leaflets to campus students to make them aware about


Locker facility within the Business block.
 Put hoarding of company’s Locker facility with required
information outside the business block.
 Place notification regarding newly open business of locker
facility in business block on notice board.
 Using verbal communication.
 Distribute leaflets to students by mentioning their new packages
with prices & attractive discounts like sharing basis for lockers if
avail for full semester.
