INTRODUCTION
The aim of the Project is to survey an existing
tank and to restore its existing capacity to meet
the required demand by Raising the existing
Bund height suitably.

 Main beneficiaries of the project are small

and regional farmers Of Budarasingi village.
The Tank is situated at Budarshingi village on
the outskirt of Hubballi taluka in Dharwad
district. The site is located at 11km from
Hubballi.
 Avg.rainfall :800mm
 Connected by NH-4
 Temprature varies between
34-36 (c)
 Irrigation purpose for regional
farmers

1. General study of the topography, boundary
selection etc.
2. Construction of grid lines.
3. Leveling
4. Drawing counter lines.
5. Details of existing bund.
6. Details of Sluice Gate.
7. Design of canal.
8. Design of Weist weir.
 Dumpy level , Ranging rods

 Grid lines of 10mx10m are drawn on the site
with the help of direct ranging for drawing
horizontal lines and 3 4 5 method to check
the perpendicular
 Leveling is done for all the grid lines so that we can
draw the counter lines from which we can find out the
capacity of the tank.
 Leveling is done to know the ground profile.
 Calculation of RL:-
 It is done either by rise and fall method or H.I method
 H.I = B.M +B.S
 R.L = H.I-I.S or H.I-F.S
