Understanding cancer

Cancer is a disease caused by abnormal growth of body

tissue cells that turn into cancer cells. In its development,
these cancer cells can spread to other body parts that can
cause death. Cancer is a term that includes a complex group
of more than different types of cancer. Cancer can affect
almost every organ in the human body. Many people are
surprised to learn that cancer can affect parts of the body
such as the eyes and heart.
Symptoms of cancer

Symptoms of cancer in general that arise depending on the

type or organ of the body that is attacked are:
1. Changes in bowel habits,

2. Wounds that do not heal.

3. A lump in the breast.

4. Changes in moles or striking skin.

5. Digestive disorders, such as persistent persistent swallowing.

6. Rapid weight loss due to less fat and protein (kaheksia)

7. Deafness, or the presence of inner ear sounds.

The process of spreading cancer to
other parts of the body
 The cells in a malignant tumor have the ability to invade
surrounding tissues and organs, resulting in the spread of
disease. It is also possible for cancer cells to separate
themselves from the tumor and enter the bloodstream,
resulting in the spread of the disease to other organs. This
spread process is called metastasis. When the cancer has
spread and has affected other areas of the body, the disease
still refers to the origination organs.
