INTRODUCTION
• State Bank of India (SBI) conducts exams for
the post of clerical cadre for its nationwide
branch network. Know everything about
Clerical exam pattern and applying to the
same below.
1. Nationality: A candidate must be a citizen of
India in order to apply for the post of clerical
cadre in State Bank of India.
2. Age Limit: A candidate should be between 20 -
28 years as on 01-05-2014 for the July/August
2014 exam.

• 12th Standard (10 + 2) pass or equivalent

Step I. Register and get the registration number
and password generated.
Step II. Pay using either:
• Online Mode – through Debit / Credit cards or
Internet Banking
• Offline Mode - through any branch of SBI
Fee payment is generally accepted from 2nd
working day after registration and can be made
within 3 working days at any branch of State
Bank of India.

For non graduates, the starting basic salary
would be 7200 rupees. For graduates it would be
8000 rupees. He or she will also get dearness
allowance which is presently about 75% of the
basic salary. Apart from basic sbi clerk salary and
dear allowances, he/she will also get HRA,
transport allowance, special pay etc.
