Muhammadiyah is an Islamic reform movement founded in Indonesia in 1912 by KH Ahmad Dahlan to spread Islamic teachings through education and social activities. It was influenced by Islamic renewal movements in the Middle East and aims to reform all aspects of human life through "tajdid" (renewal) and "islah" (reform). In addition to education, Muhammadiyah is involved in various community services and engages in international cooperation and conflict resolution efforts. However, its rapid organizational growth has also led to weaknesses such as bureaucratization and slow response to new social issues.
