The 3G network of x operator is the heaviest


loading network of worldwide UMTS networks.
With the sharp increasing of data services and
traffic, it is urgent for customer to deploy small cell
to achieve load distribution.

The customer is lack of experience about


accurate site planning for the Small Cell. Although
the customer has selected some sites through
DTs, the cost is high and evaluation on selected
sites cannot be performed.

1. At full load in lab, CPU load go up as 2、 X operator UMTS MR Trial test, MR impact on SPU
below: CPU is as below. Because of network low load,
absolute load goes up 0.62%, while relative load goes

1、Usually network load control threshold is 60%. If MR has been acted, no need to take care of
load, and directly collect MR data. If MR hasn’t been acted and SPUa load is over 50%, MR data
should be collected by baths:
(60%-SPUa load X)/nX <= 10%,”n” is bath count. Following the formula, bath count can be
calculated.
