• Explain the flow of actions that can be taken
on a civil servant with the use of graphics. Use
an example of teacher discipline case.
 Types of disciplinary actions
• 1. Warning
• 2. A fine or forfeiture of emoluments
• 3. Deferment of salary movement
• 4. Reduction in salary
• 5. Demotion
 Discipline cases
• Drug abuse by civil officers.
• Civil officers are forbidden to involve
themselves in any form of drug abuse
including dealing, selling, processing or any
activities that produce drugs.
 Flow of actions (change to graphic
form)
• 1. Suspension of service
• 2. Forfeit half of the salary including allowances
• 3. Urine test
• 4. If positive, warning letter is given by Biro
Kawalan Narkotik.
• 5. Overpaid salary and allowances will be
collected.
• 6. Stopping the service (retirement)
Exception (change to graphic form)
• If the officer surrenders and willing to go for
rehabilitation and do not have other criminal
records.
• 1. A year suspension of service
• 2. If the rehabilitation is over a year, the officer
can be considered for retirement.
• 3. Forfeit half of the salary including allowances
for the first 6 months. No salary will be given for
the rest of 6 months.
• 4. Deferment of salary movement.
