Offensive Philosophy
We will make the defense conform to us.
We will keep the defense off-balance by
controlling the game tempo and with play
selection. We will attack their
weaknesses (scheme or personnel).

To make our offense successful we must:

1) Be in better shape than the other team.

2) Execute every play as if it is the game
winning play.
3) Understand and properly handle
adversity.

From this day forward the Claxton¶s Tigers

offense will be known as:

The Gold Strike Offense

3
Offensive Missions Statement

Our offense will revolve around three things:

playmakers, tempo, and simplicity.

1.First, we want to get the ball to our best

athletes in open space.
2.Second, we want to control the tempo to
keep the defense out of rhythm.
3.Third, we want to keep the offense simple
so our athletes can execute every play to
perfection.

4
Huddle

We will run a no huddle system. After each

play the OL will line up 3 yards from the
LOS waiting for the call. It is very important
that the skill position¶s come back inside the
hashes after each play before they line up in
formation. The skill positions will look to the
sideline for the formation. If a formation is
not given, they will line up in a spread
formation. After the formation is called, the
motion man and type of motion will be
given. The play will be called last. The skill
people closest to the sideline will call out the
play after they hear it. The QB will call the
play and everyone will line up for the snap
count. The snap count will be ³Set, (raise
leg), then once the QB is ready the Center
will yell ³Go´ and snap the ball. After the
play it is very important for the nearest man
to get the ball and run it back to the official.

5
Offensive Verse

But those who wait on the Lord

Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles.
They shall run and not be weary.
They shall walk and not faint.
Isaiah 40:31
