French Revolution
The French revolution was caused by 3 reasons. The political, social and
economic reasons. The political cause is that King Louis XVI ruled by
Divine Right and had people put in jail and killed others. Only the
nobl.es had power which means there was no democracy. The social cause
was that there were 3 classes; the first, second and third estate. Each
estate was represented by different people. The third estate was made up
of 97% of the people and they were the ones that paid all the taxes. The
last reason was the economic cause which is tied to the second cause which
was that tye third estate had to pay all the taxes even though the nobles
and the church were the wealthiest.
