Narration: There are around seven thousand languages in the world, but
the one universal unspoken language is body language, and we use it all
the time. We use it in our social life and business life. It’s all about
movements, gestures, and expressions made by people to convey a
certain message.

They say the “eyes are the window to your soul”.
Anyone who stares lovingly into them indicates
attraction and interest. How your eyes met with other
eyes tells one of two things. Lack of eye contact
portrays insecurity or lack of interest. But when
someone maintains eye contact that indicates
confidence and honesty.

Narration:Someone sitting in a closed position will either have his or her arms
folded, legs crossed, or are positioned at a slight angle from the person with
whom they are interacting. All these behavior communicate discomfort or
disinterest. You can find yourself in closed body language when a teacher is
lecturing, and you find yourself with your arms crossed. This is a clear sign that
you are bored and not interest at all in what the teacher is saying.
Now, someone in open posture involves someone directly facing you with
hands apart on the arms of a chair. This communicates openness and interest
in someone.

Narration:
There is also another type of posture called “Mirroring” Have you ever
noticed the way a loving couple relates to each other? Whether you are
observing a couple in person or TV you see that a partners posture will
match with his or her significant other, as if one partner would be the
reflection of the other. For example: the holding of hands or arms around
each other’s waist.
