Introduction
Nutraceuticals :- a food (or part of a food) that provides health
or medical benefits, including prevention & treatment of disease.
It includes mineral, vitamins, Nutrients, other dietary
supplements, dietary enzymes (bromelein, papain), dietary fibre,
Phytonutrients, probiotics and carotenoids.

Is the food that provides health and medicinal benefits.

The interest in nutraceuticals foods continue to grow, powered


by progressive research efforts to identify their properties &
applications, coupled with public interest & consumer demand
