General features

 Trend viewer allows to visualize analysis and


observation of real-time/archived analog/digital
datapoints.
 There are two kinds of Trend Viewer: real time trend
viewer and archive viewer.

General features

 The real time trend viewer can display only one


datapoint.
 The archive viewer can display up to 8 curves on the
same view.

 Curves have their own format depending of the datapoint

Archive trend viewer

 Archive trend viewer allows to visualise one or several


curves.

 By default, no curve is displayed in the archive trend


viewer. The user has to define it.

Curve definition

 To define a new curve the user has to:


 Click on Configuration button . The configuration
window is displayed

 Click on “Add” button. So the trend data source Selector is


displayed

 Click on “Browse” button to select datapoint value to
display. So the historical variable browser is displayed:

 The user has to select the datapoint using the browser and
then click on value item (the value item is displayed when
the datapoint has been selected)

Curve definition
 Click on “OK” button to validate the selection so the Trend
DataSourceSelector is displayed with the value datapoint
reference in the item name

 Click on “OK” button. So the configuration window is


displayed, including the new defined curve with default
parameters.

 Click on “OK” button to close the window or modify the


default parameters

Curve parameter modification

 The curve parameter modification is available only for


archive trend viewer
 Curve parameterisation is accessible via the configuration
window by clicking on Configuration button

Curve parameter modification

 It allows to modify
 Curve display. Using the upper left visibility check box, curves
can be selected/ deselected for visualisation
 Curve availability. Button suppresses the corresponding
curve
 Curve name
 Curve color. Click on the curve color square, a color range is
displayed. To change it the user select the new one.
 Background color. Click on Graph color square
 Axis value display. Button removes/ displays the curve value
axis
 Datapoint value reference by button
