Findings and Observations
• Different services in Fels work well on their own, no issues with manpower
• However, such a wide variety of services shouldn't be contained to one
building
• Fels main issues are capacity and scheduling
Implementation
• New Student Center will feature an architectural style that is commonplace among university
student centers across the country
• Constructing the new student center will be in the best interest for the Nichols College student
experience
• Interior/Exterior
• Exterior will feature modern contemporary style with large windows and a patio for seasonal enjoyment
• Interior will feature bright white walls with well-lit up areas decorated with modern styled furniture

• 1st Floor
• Will act mainly as a recreation area for students
• Students can enjoy arcade games, game consoles, and pool tables
• Also will hold upgraded fast food and coffee/breakfast locations
• 2nd Floor
• Will be devoted as an area for studying
• Study area will feature new top of the line
computers, desks, whiteboards and study
rooms
• 3rd Floor
• Will house improved student
involvement areas featuring more
space and upgraded equipment
