• She had the honor to become the first female minister in the GCC “Gulf Cooperation Council”

appointed to be the Minister of Economy and Planning in 2000, then she was appointed the

Minister of Foreign Trade in 2004 (UAE, 2012).

• With her efforts and ambitions, she made it possible for Emirati females to hold high-ranking

positions in the government.
