MOCK TRIAL

THE PROCESS
• You have been assigned a particular role in the courtroom. Hopefully, you have spent
some time preparing your arguments for the case.
• Each person is on one side of the argument: either you think the Lumberjack family
is guilty, or you think they are innocent. The people who agree with you will be your
team.
• Each team will take turns sharing their argument and asking the other team’s
witnesses questions. You might want to take notes. We will follow a very strict
schedule.
• For example,

to present their defense. The head lawyer from Team A asks questions.
