At one time it controlled 45% of the world's creation and sold more than 80% of all precious
stones
The company was founded in 1888 by British businessman Cecil Rhodes, who was financed by

OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY
To understand the sales of diamond jeweler in the first half (January – July ) in 2017 as
compared to previous year first half ( January – July ) of 2016.

A questionnaire is used as a research instrument for the market survey. A questionnaire is
formal list of questions to be in the survey. Questionnaire consists of open ended
questions.

•The persons who handles the diamond jewellery business are in between of age group
between 30-40 years because in this the shopkeeper must have total knowledge about market.
•In India maximum people use pure jewellery so demand for this is high compare to others.
•GST will not effect the sales according to respondents and they think that the sales demand might
be constant.
•The major reason that sales of first half ( January- June ) 2016 is less than first half ( January-june)
2017 this is because strike has taken last year that’s the reason that why sales has gone done in 2016.
