Statement of the Problem
This study aims to assess the effectiveness of strategies of Alvin’s
Fitness Gym Butuan in making competitive advantage, if such strategies
were achieved by the gym by conducting interview or giving out survey
questionnaires to rivals or customers in verification of the effectiveness of
its strategy. Specifically, this study seeks to answer the following questions:
• What are the strategies of Alvin’s Fitness Gym Butuan?
• Are these strategies effective in creating competitive advantage?
• Does Alvin’s Fitness Gym Butuan City have a competitive advantage?

In conclusion, the strategies implemented by Alvin’s Fitness Gym

are effective which helps them create a competitive advantage. The
researchers recommend that Alvin’s Fitness Gym Butuan City should adapt
to the changes and continue to formulate effective strategies that will allow
it to maintain its position in the market, such as its acquisition of the high-
tech treadmill equipment which helps boosts customer experience and
satisfaction, which they then converted to coin-operated treadmill to lessen
the cost of maintenance without letting down their customers.
