Leader: In this season of
expectation we prepare to welcome
Christ Jesus, our Savior
People: Into the bustle of our lives
and the hard to find moments of

along with friends and families we

People: Into our hearts, and those

*ADVENT PRAYER
Congregation
God of light and hope, look upon us in love
and fill us with the spirit of Jesus that we
may love you and serve you in your
kingdom. Protect us and keep us watchful
in prayer as we await the coming of our
Lord, Jesus Christ, who is the Light of the
world and who lives and reigns with you
and the Holy Spirit, forever and ever.

Leader: Give to the Lord, O families of the

peoples, give to the Lord as the woman who
out of poverty, has put in all she had to live
on.
People: Give to the Lord the glory due His
name; not the amount that counts, but the
heart with which it is given. Come before
Him, and worship the Lord in the beauty of
holiness.

Praise God, from Whom all blessings

flow;
Praise Him, all creatures here below;
Praise Him above, ye heavenly host;
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

Heavenly Father, You are the Creator
and Source of all things good. You have
showered us with greatness and love even
on the days we turn against You. Look into
our hearts and receive this heartfelt
thanksgiving we offer to you. Thank You for
all the gifts and blessings You have
showered upon us. You are the rock of our
spirit and without You, we will be nothing.
You have provided us with our every need.
As You have been generous to us, we
offer You these gifts as symbols of our
utmost gratitude for Your kindness.
Bless us, Father, with continued grace
and blessings throughout each day.
May these gifts multiply and that
everyone in our community can benefit
from them. Forever in Your glory, Lord,
in Jesus' most holy name, we pray.
