Rush Hour is the game is a co-op competitive
game. Two companies(teams) of two players are fighting over valuable contract that appeared in the market. It will not stay there for too long time, so the teams need to contact their agents, grab some papers and get to the finish together with their partner(s). The problem is that they are doing this during the rush hour and they must use various methods of public transportation. About the Game
• Purpose: The game addresses traffic problems
in Maryland, public transportation system and the cost of public transportation.
• Target Audience: Everyone 13 and older.
• Players: 2-4 ( 4 is preferred)
Rules:
• Two teams of 2 players starts at the
start points. • Each player has $20 of in game currency. • Each player has four same color game pieces of each transportation. Rules:
• Each team picks one of the four objective cards.
• Two Objective chips are placed on the designated
number on the map (See map for reference). • Two objectives(total) on the map should be marked with chips. • Each team must visit these two objectives before they get to finish. • Both teams have the same objectives Rules:
• Players need to pay fees for transportations.
• Taxi – 1$ per turn • Bus – 3$ per Bus • Metro – 1$ per turn • Walking - free • They can walk or switch to the taxi at the start the game. • To switch transportation, the player needs to get to the point of the transportation color. Rules:
• On the regular road (light blue(for taxi) and the
dark yellow(for bus), players can move with regular speed – 2 points per turn. • On the busy roads, busy bus routes, or metro, players must use Go-Cards. • When player uses Go-Cards, they need to complete action written in the Go-Card. • If the player decides to walk – player walks with regular speed of 0.5 point. Rules:
• Players can get an additional $10 from the
bank, if they visit the space (orange point on the map) • Players on the same team can share money with each other Rules:
• To win the game each team needs to collect
two chips before getting to finish • To collect chips, players need to get to the objective points. • After two chips have been collected, both players of the same team needs to get to the finish. Game map Game Cards and Figures
