• Ensure that you are not blocking client access to


the Skype for Business environment based on
URLs, domain names, IP addresses, or ports
• Avoid granting access based on current IP
addresses; use domain names or URLs instead
• Optimize your network for conferencing
• Plan for bandwidth requirements
Connecting to Skype for Business Online by using
Windows PowerShell

• Requirements:
• Windows PowerShell 3.0 or later
• Windows PowerShell module for Skype for Business
Online
• To connect to Skype for Business Online by using
Windows PowerShell, use the following
commands:
• $cred = Get-Credential
• $SfBSession = New-CSOnlineSession –Credential
