Steps
1) Case in Brief
Give the essence of each paragraph briefly.
Strengths:
1. Strengths are the positive points or merits of the firm itself. They are always within the
firm.
2. For example, firm having long and successful history
3. Firm having morale & committed people
4. Firm having good communication systems
5. Firm having people with good leadership and interpersonal skills etc.
6. Any other point about the firm or the prevailing conditions mentioned in the case,
that looks good for the firm or its people.

SWOT Analysis
Weaknesses
1. Weaknesses are the negative points or demerits/drawbacks of the firm itself. They are
also always within the firm.
2. Any of the above that lacks in the firm or in the present case.
3. Otherwise, any other points about the firm or the prevailing conditions mentioned in
the case, that looks bad for the firm or its people.
4. Example, firm not having proper leadership,
5. Firm having no proper communication system,
6. Firm having people with egos and rivalry,
7. Firm having people with narrow mindsets and wrong attitude etc.

SWOT Analysis
Opportunities
Opportunities are the favourable factors present outside the firm. They are always
present in the environment the firm is operating or the scene in the case is set.
For example, availability of prospective employees with good communication
capabilities,
Scope for the firm or its people to correct their errors
Availability of favourable conditions/situations for the firm or its people to improve
their communication abilities etc.

Threats
Threats are the unfavourable factors present outside the firm. They are also always
present in the environment the firm is operating or the scene in the case is set.
Any of the above that lacks in the present case.

Steps
1) Case in Brief
Give the essence of each paragraph briefly.
4) Problem Identification
Cases for the existence of the problems are analyzed.
Find out the points given in the case that looks as the exact problem.
Find out the root cause of the problem.
Discus how it can be treated as a problem.
5) Suggested Alternatives
List any 5 alternative solutions (or at least 2 or 3) for the problem .
List the advantages and disadvantages of each alternative.

Steps
7) Conclusion
Close the case with a final touch by giving an overall conclusion.
This means, make a very short note of the problem in 2-3 lines.
Explain how the solution you offered to the problem helps the firm of its people
to overcome the problem. In 3-4 lines.
Discuss how the new situation will look like after applying the above solution to
the problem.
