HPE is focusing on reducing their operating cost. This
can be seen from the news that they have fired 5000
employees. This will Reduce their operating cost by
10%
HPE strategic move is to increase the number of
stores to increase the target base ( Market Segment)
 Goal Approach - Identifying organization's output goals
and assessing how well the organization has attained those
goals.
HPEs main focus is on the expansion of their firm by
increasing the no of stores in the country.
EXPANSION From 350 stores to 500 stores and now
targeting to open 1000 exclusive HPE World stores in India
HPE already present in 500 town and they are planning to
reach 800 town in next 2 years. The market share in PC
segment has increased from 25% to 29.5% in last 2 years.
Current Market share 48% in printer segment
Focus - To increase the market sales of HPE printers. Also
they are focusing on targeting education space and small
&medium enterprises(SME)
