Pair and Connect
To pair the hearing aid, follow these steps:
1. Open the hearing aid's battery doors.
2. On the iOS device, tap Settings > General >
Accessibility > Hearing > Hearing Devices.
3. If Bluetooth is off, turn it on under Devices.
4. Close the hearing aid's battery doors. The
iOS device will search for the hearing aid.
5. Under Devices, tap the name of the
hearing aid.
6. Tap Pair when the pairing request appears
on the screen. There will be two requests if
there are two hearing aids. Pairing could
take up to a minute.

The hearing aid can be used when

Turning on Live Listen and other controls

hearing aid's battery life, adjust the volume,
and turn on Live Listen.
To control the hearing aid, use Settings or
the Accessibility Shortcut.
Go to Settings > General > Accessibility >
Hearing > Hearing Devices. Then tap the
hearing aid's name.
Settings enable one to:
View battery life
Adjust volume levels for either or both
hearing aids
Choose an audio preset
Turn on Live Listen
Unpair the hearing aid

Turning on Speak Selection and Speak Screen
Even with VoiceOver turned off, iPad can read aloud any selected text. iPad can also read the entire screen to you.
