Group Activity:
1. Divide the participants into two (2) groups.
Group 1 with facilitation experience and
Group 2 without facilitation experience

2. Each group will choose one (1) activity at the


municipal or community level.

3. Through a simulation, demonstrate facilitation


skills in conducting the chosen actvitiy.

FACILITATION

The root word of facilitation is


facile: easy, fluent or flexible.

The action word, FACILITATE,


means to make things easy.
Essentially, the act of facilitating is to
enable something to happen easily.

One of the most important skills for leaders and members.

These are the process skills used to guide and direct key
parts of our organizing work with groups of people such as
meetings, planning sessions and trainings.
