Why are Slide Layouts Important?

Provide Placeholders which are displayed on the Outline (picked up by


screen readers)
Tip: If text boxes are added in individual slides they do not appear on the
outline and are not read by screen reader.

Reading Order

If text boxes are added in individual slides they do not appear on the
outline and are not read by screen reader.
In PDF, text boxes will be read in the order that you put them in. Check
reading order pane (Home > Arrange > Selection Pane)
