prioritizing.
The Power of Independent Will
It is the ability to make decisions and choices and to
act in accordance with them. It is the ability to act
rather than to be acted upon.

Time Management
The 1st wave could be characterized by notes, an
effort to give some semblance of recognition and
inclusiveness to the many demands placed
The 2nd wave could be characterized by calendars and
appointment books. This wave reflects an attempt to
look ahead, to schedule events and activities in the
future..

The 3rd wave reflects the current time-management


field. It generates the important idea of
prioritization, of clarifying values. It has the concept
of daily planning, of making a specific plan to
accomplish those goals and activities determined to
be of greatest worth.
4th wave focuses on preserving and enhancing
relationships and accomplishing results in short, on
maintaining the P/PC Balance.

4. Think Win-Win
Win-win is not a technique; it's a total philosophy of
human interaction. In fact, it is one of six paradigms of
interaction.
Six Paradigms are:
1. Win-Win
2. Win-Lose
3. Lose-Win
4. Lose-Lose
5. Win
6. No Deal

in all our interactions, and it embraces five
interdependent dimensions of life. It begins with
Character and moves toward Relationships, out
of which flow Agreements. It is nurtured in an
Environment where structure and systems are
based on win-win. And it involves Process.
